Efficacy of Module Based Teaching on Student’s Learning Progress

1. Objectives:
 To know if the Modular Learning Modality is effective in educating Senior High
Students.
 To determine the different factors that can affect the student’s learning.
 To establish fixed and effective learning strategies in improving the student’s learning
capabilities.

2. Questions:
1. Do you think that the current learning modality is effective?
2. Is it hard learning from the module?
3. What struggles do you encounter when you’re study using the module?
4. What do you think does the module need to be effective in learning?
5. Do you need someone to explain further a certain topic from the module?
6. How often do you use the internet to understand the lesson from the module?
7. Are there any distractions that can affect your learning through modular? If yes, what
are they?
8. What measures do you do to avoid distractions?

3. Hypothesis: 

Null Hypothesis: The Module is not an effective learning modality of Academic Students of
Senior High School.

Alternate Hypothesis: The Module is an effective learning modality of the Academic


Students of Senior High School.

4. Date Referred to by the Research Question and Hypothesis


The relevant date of conducting this research is during the School Year 2020-2021 where
more than half of the Senior High School Students is using the Modular Learning Modality.
 
5. Application of Findings
The findings will be reported to the instructors and will be used in improving the learning
modality of Senior High School Students.
 
 
6. Sampling Method
The sampling method that will be used is Simple Random Sampling among all the Academic
Strand of Senior High School. Five students which are using Modular Learning Modality
from each strand will be surveyed and their response will be recorded.

7. Instruments in Collecting of Data


The instruments used in collecting data will be through face to face and response will be
written to be recorded.
