Artist analysis: Anna Marie Tendler.

The majority of Tendler’s work consists of self portraits. Tendler uses the
composition of her photos in a very interesting way, ranging from very busy
set ups to a lot of blank space.

This creates somber and hectic images, which evoke a lot of emotion.
Her work has a vintage essence to it as it looks like it is shot on film. I also
think her work is similar to the baroque art style.

throughout the video. The
animation remains very
straight forward and is
very encapsulating
because of the smooth The rhythm of the animation
transitions from one is enthralling to the audience,
outline to another. as it matches the rhythm
within the song.
The colour palette is mainly
black and white which is a
very minimal style. This means
there is a bigger emphasis on
the movement rather than the
colour of the animation.
