45
00:02:11,038 --> 00:02:14,799
you've now achieved temperature

46
00:02:13,120 --> 00:02:17,039
if you want to power the refrigeration

47
00:02:14,800 --> 00:02:19,200
unit without running the van's engine

48
00:02:17,039 --> 00:02:21,280
that's when you're going to use standby

49
00:02:19,199 --> 00:02:23,519
now standby mode is the most effective

50
00:02:21,280 --> 00:02:26,000
way to power the unit but it needs to be

51
00:02:23,520 --> 00:02:28,560
executed properly and in a very specific

52
00:02:29,520 --> 00:02:33,599
turn off the engine and remove the key

53
00:02:33,598 --> 00:02:37,919
locate the standby cable that is always

54
00:02:40,318 --> 00:02:45,759
one end is a traditional pigtail that

55
00:02:42,560 --> 00:02:47,920
plugs into any standard 110 volt outlet

56
00:02:45,759 --> 00:02:51,280
the same outlets you have at home

57
00:02:47,919 --> 00:02:52,958
the other end plugs into the van

58
00:02:51,280 --> 00:02:54,560
so find the port right outside the

59
00:02:54,560 --> 00:02:59,519
the top of the cable has lock and unlock

60
00:02:57,120 --> 00:03:00,640
images so line those up with the top of

61
00:03:00,639 --> 00:03:05,039
insert the cable and twist clockwise to

62
00:03:05,039 --> 00:03:09,679
once the van and the cable are securely

63
00:03:07,039 --> 00:03:11,840
connected it's time to plug into a power

64
00:03:09,680 --> 00:03:13,680
source before plugging into your power

65
00:03:11,840 --> 00:03:16,319
source it's extremely important that the

66
00:03:13,680 --> 00:03:17,760
vans engine is not running we recommend

67
00:03:16,318 --> 00:03:19,679
putting the key in your pocket just to

68
00:03:19,680 --> 00:03:24,239
once you plug into your power source use
69
00:03:21,598 --> 00:03:26,158
the control box just like roadside mode

70
00:03:24,239 --> 00:03:27,360
you'll see a new icon indicating that

71
00:03:27,360 --> 00:03:32,000
refrigeration unit in standby mode

72
00:03:30,080 --> 00:03:34,159
here's some more useful information if

73
00:03:32,000 --> 00:03:35,840
you're renting a freezer van standby

74
00:03:34,158 --> 00:03:38,158
mode works the exact same way as a

75
00:03:35,840 --> 00:03:39,759
refrigerated van but both the power

76
00:03:38,158 --> 00:03:41,679
requirements and the outlet are

77
00:03:39,759 --> 00:03:44,000
different please consult one of our

78
00:03:41,680 --> 00:03:46,560

79
00:03:44,000 --> 00:03:48,799
and on a hot day if the van is exposed

80
00:03:46,560 --> 00:03:50,479
to direct sunlight try cheating your

81
00:03:48,799 --> 00:03:52,640
desired temperature down just a couple

82
00:03:50,479 --> 00:03:54,878
of degrees the sun is one powerful heat

83
00:03:52,639 --> 00:03:56,798
source and just like your refrigerator
84
00:03:54,878 --> 00:03:59,120
at home when you open the door you're

85
00:03:56,799 --> 00:04:00,879
letting cold air out these vans will

86
00:03:59,120 --> 00:04:03,360
always work better the less you open

87
00:04:00,878 --> 00:04:05,759
them in fact running the refrigeration

88
00:04:03,360 --> 00:04:07,680
unit while keeping the doors open

89
00:04:05,759 --> 00:04:10,639
may cause the unit to go into defrost

90
00:04:07,680 --> 00:04:12,400
mode this is important it's best to load

91
00:04:10,639 --> 00:04:15,359
the van with the refrigeration unit

92
00:04:12,400 --> 00:04:17,280

the power button on the control box

95
00:04:20,319 --> 00:04:24,719
before unplugging the standby cable or

96
00:04:24,720 --> 00:04:28,960
it's as important to know how to turn

97
00:04:26,560 --> 00:04:30,800
off the unit as it is to start it you've
