Localization

The localisation is done in two modalities:

« Event-driven ». i.e. open/closed doors, transits at stops

Periodical communication, configurable

The localisation algorithm makes use of and match the following information:

Odometer
Status of the doors
GPS
Logical description of the service

The result is a precision of some meters; it depends from measures and graph
precision.

Travel time estimation and data
filtering

The function computes in real-time the travel time on each element of the
network (stops, arcs, intersections, terminals).

The function makes use of both the historical data and the information
received in real-time (events, incidents, weather, traffic, etc.) to work out the
travel time profiles.

The profiles are created for any daily typology and for 10 minutes periods
and they are updated using the real-time information and data.

The profiles are created for different modes of operation: for priority traffic
light configuration and without priority request

A data filtering process is used to obtain the forecasts and compute the
regulation strategies.

• The map display provides all the

functionality users need to navigate on
the map (for example, Zoom In, Zoom
Out, Zoom Window) within the
boundaries of the area.
• It is possible move the map on the
screen, simply clicking on any part of
the map and hold down the left mouse
button, drag the area to the desired
position. When the mouse button is
released, the card is updated to the new
location.

It is possible set the navigation option

in auto-fit layers (no hassle to
maintain the best view) or in free
navigation for a specific fixed zoom
