Horezu – a Treasure of beauty

Horezu is a town located in the depression bordered by the chain of the


Southern Carpathions to the north,there is a quiet mountain town,famous for the
art born of clay,created by potters and admired by lovers of beauty.
It is known as an ethnographic center and as an old center of folk pottery,which
has been included in the UNESCO heritage since 2005.
It includes a number of 7 localities ,the city of residence Horezu and 6
belonging villages : Romanii de Sus,Romanii de Jos,Râmesti,Ifrimești,Tănăsești
and Urșani.
Visually,the area is rich with stunning scenery,wich you can admire by going
for a walk.Many tourists come to visit religious sites,such as monasteries,or
historical ones,also enjoying the festivals organized in the area.
In my opinion,if you want to enjoy an unforgettable experience and at the same
time discover new things like Oltenian food,traditions and customs.Come to
Horezu,you will not regret it!
