delegate participation. Delivery will include presentation by lectures, Practical workshops,
Role plays, Mock Audits etc., leaded by highly experienced and Qualified Tutors.

The course material is divided into number of Chapters and Exercises. Each chapter will
provide enough information based on the learning objectives of that chapter. Also, there
are practical exercises pertaining to the chapters (wherever relevant). The outputs of the
exercises are a part of the formal continuous assessment and will therefore be marked.
Although the exercises are group exercises individual score to the delegate will be based on

their overall participants, involvement in the relevant chapter presentation and in the
exercise.

A mock audit – Role play will be conducted on days 4 & 5 of the Training for the delegates
to demonstrate the skills learned and understood during the course. All sessions are
interactive and a delegate participant is encouraged.

Attendance for the full duration of the course is mandatory and poor time keeping must be
avoided. Delegates are not encouraged for taking leave or permissions during the 5 days of
the training Course

Program Objective

Ø Describe the purpose of a quality management system and explain the 7 principles of
quality management.
Ø Explain the purpose, content and interrelationship of ISO 9000, ISO 9001, ISO 9004
and ISO 19011.
Ø Interpret the requirements of ISO 9001 in the context of the audit.
Ø Describe the roles and responsibilities of auditors and lead auditors.
Ø Plan and conduct and audit in accordance with ISO 19011, demonstrating ability to :
1. Plan and Prepare effectively
2. Gather objectives evidence, through effective interviewing, observation, sampling
and note taking
3. Analyze and interpret information in order to determine conformance with
requirements.

Ø Report the audit, including writing valid, factual and value –adding non-conformity
reports.
Ø Undertake audit follow-up activities, including evaluating the effectiveness of corrective
action
Ø Delegates will become proficient in the area of QMS – ISO 9001:2015 and will qualify
as Lead Auditor

• “Live audit” exercise
Ø Delegates share the experience of conducting a quality system management system audit
against ISO 9001:2015 and anticipated issues, resolving methods, Reasonable
expectations of a client.

Day 5

• Review of the important points of “previous sessions”
Ø The tutor facilitates this session whereby feedback is given on the delegates’
performance during the “live audit” and improvement required areas.
