every page of a document so that it won’t be a hassle to repetitively encode them.
2. An example of a situation where table of contents can be used is If we want to read
a specific topic of a book, we can use the table of contents to easily find what we are
looking for.
WHAT I CAN DO
1. STEP BY STEP PROCESS OF CREATING A TABLE OF CONTENTS
Step 1- Create a word document, name it “Table of Contents” and input your selected contents.
Step 2- Apply a Heading Style for each text. Home>Styles group>Heading1/Heading2
Step 3- Click the beginning of the document to move the insertion point.
Step 4- If you want to make it automatic in putting label in your “Table of Contents”, press,
References>Table of Contents group>Automatic Table 2
2. INSERTING A PAGE NUMBER
To insert a page number, Go to Insert ribbon, look for the Page Number in the Header and
Footer group then select which format and style you want to use in a page number.

1. Using a spreadsheet allows users to generate data graphical displays like charts, bar
graph, etc., to visualize their presentation and it helps in powerful analysis of large
amounts of data.
2. In terms of organizing and sorting data, a spreadsheet is advantageous for it provides
useful tools like preset functions, graphical displays, etc., which enables you to instantly
perform a more flexible presentation.

2. I had a few problems with the hyperlink stuff but somehow, I managed to correct it by
analyzing and performing the process again and again.

-For inserting pictures in the presentation, go to the Insert Tab, click the “Picture” in
the Images group, select Pictures from File, locate the pictures in the folder where
your pictures are saved, select the file then click insert.
- For inserting videos in the presentation, go to the Insert Tab, click “Video” in the
Media group, select Video from File, locate the video in the folder where your videos
are saved, choose the file then click insert.
2. Hyperlinks allow users to jump back and forth between specific slides in your
presentation thereby making your content more engaging ang inviting.

GOOD WEB PAGE DESIGN VS. BAD WEB PAGE DESIGN

Every time I visit a good web page design, it is indeed appealing to the eyes that it
makes me want to stare at it for a long time. One more thing is that it helps me easily
navigate the site and find the information I am looking for. I also noticed that well-
designed websites are user-friendly which left me a good impression.

In contrast to the first paragraph, a bad wed page design is most likely to flop.
Whenever I visit a bad website, I quickly exit because I often have problems in terms of
access and navigation which is quite a hassle for me. Moreover, I think some designs
are too flashy for my eyes.

I believe that the web page I chose matches all the basic principles of design and layout. First of
all, the arrangement of the elements is properly/evenly distributed and is symmetrical which is
aesthetically pleasing to the eyes. As soon as I open the webpage, the first thing I noticed is the
Minecraft theme thereby adding a factor to the emphasis. Moreover, the design obviously has
a pattern, repetition, and rhythm because is has a theme. Its consistency and uniformity in the
contents, access, and navigation makes the design formal and at the same time strategic. The
alignment is also used; you won’t notice a thing that’s out of place. In terms of hierarchy, you
can clearly see how the details stand out by using a different font style, color, size, etc.
Additionally, the color scheme isn’t too dark nor too light. Rather, the elements in a
composition contrasts each other which adds visual interest. Lastly, we have the unity and
harmony. The elements in the design work out together and pull the look together creating a
different kind of vibe.

Overall, the layout and design are very intriguing.
