and analyzing of information. - Some sources are unreliable and satirical.

characteristics of a reliable and unreliable sources. Reliable sources contain updated
materials, mention the author’s name and information as well as the works cited,
provide clear motives and are written with professionalism while unreliable sources are
completely the opposite of those characteristics.

WHAT I CAN DO (PERFORMANCE TASK)

The Earth’s Fate

Predictions and theories about the Earth’s future are everywhere. One even
told me the Earth would be melting few years from now. Perhaps that was merely
an assumption but what exactly made them think that way? Were there bases?

While it is true that the Earth’s current state is in a damaged state and under
threat from dangers including those arising from global warming which is mostly
caused by manmade events, it does not provide enough evidence to the statement
saying that the Earth would be melting few years from now and is likely one of
their bases why they came up with a thought as impossible as that. There are no
articles, proofs, or statements coming from legitimate sources like NASA
indicating that the Earth would possibly melt. Rather, they are providing us
information about the Earth’s vital signs that we can use to contribute to the
Earth’s present condition since the vast majority of actively publishing climate
scientists agree that humans are causing global warming and climate. Geoscience
is much broader than you think. There are various things we need to consider and
be knowledgeable about before we create theories about the Earth.

To sum up, the statement given is clearly a false information. It shows no signs
or evidences confirming its credibility which obviously cannot be trusted.
Additionally, the statement lacks specificity and is ambiguous to start with which
senses uncertainness.
