Sub: Selection of architect/design consultant for developing plan, providing architectural design,
structural design, electrical works and all other consultancy services for Construction Material
Laboratory in land parcel 3 of IIT Mandi at Kamand.
Dear Sir (s),

Your tender for the work mentioned above has been accepted on behalf of the BoG, IIT Mandi at your
tendered amount of Rs 3,51,820/- (Rupees Three Lacs Fifty One Thousand Eight Hundred and Twenty only) as
approved by the competent authority.

You are requested to submit the performance security/guarantee of Rs 10,555/- (Rupees Ten Thousand
Five Hundred and Fifty Five only) within 10 (Ten) days from the issue of this letter. The performance guarantee
shall be in the form of Deposit at Demand Draft/ Fixed Deposit Receipts of any Scheduled Bank and shall be
initially valid up to the stipulated date of completion plus 60 days beyond that.

You have to execute the agreement for the said work. Please note that no payment shall be
released unless you sign the agreement.

Please note that the time allowed for carrying out the work as entered in the tender is 30 days which shall
be reckoned from the 7th day from the date of issue of this letter.

In case of failure to furnish the Performance Guarantee within the specified days, IIT
Mandi shall without prejudice to any other right or remedy available in the law, be at liberty to
forfeit the earnest money absolutely.
All Provisions/clauses of the agreement will be applicable.

This issues with the prior approval of competent authority.
