Fear has engulfed all people since there was a horrible disease that is unseen, incurable and

above all a deadly disease the whole world. It changed everything especially the way people
communicate with their fellow human beings and trade with other people.

Disturbing feelings has consumed people since the beginning of this pandemic here in the
Philippines in January 2020 where a woman became the first victim in our country. The
formerly noisy country suddenly changed. The former many people walking on the street
whether old or young, rioting in the street while laughing, transportation to other places to
have fun and relax a happy family, and what other things we are used to have just disappeared
like a bubble. People's livelihoods were lost and affected, the former trade with other countries
or areas suddenly disappeared and was blocked due to the pandemic.

No one chooses to be affected by such a disease, whether adults or children are affected. The
former playground in the park full of children laughing because of the fun and excitement they
feel has been replaced by fear and confinement inside the home. Parents who only
communicate with their livelihood are like blinking their eyes at how it has disappeared. The old
communication that was simple and you didn't care has been replaced by things that you still
need to use or wear such as a face mask and face shield to avoid contracting a contagious and
deadly disease. Simply going out of the house to buy food or snacks requires you to wear a nose
and mouth mask so that you are not prone to the disease that will come out as long as you
want, there is no prohibition and you do not fear a disease that can kill you.

So now, as this pandemic spreads and worsens, we Filipinos must be honest, follow the words
of those who raise us and be responsible for everything. But if I'm just dreaming, please wake
me up because I don't want to have nightmares and let these dreams continue.
