ROLE-PLAY #1: CELEBRATIONS

A= Hello, How are you? What are you doing here in San Pedro Sula?
B= I go shopping and I was invited to an event, but it was canceled.

are celebrating Thanksgiving.
B= Of course! I accept your invitation I like thanksgiving a lot but my favorite
time is Christmas.
A= Really? I love that day, I really enjoy the celebration, we make a special
lunch and gather the whole family.
B= Yes, good but what is your favorite celebration? and how do they
celebrate it?
A= Well my favorite celebration has always been thanksgiving and celebrated
with fireworks is like a family tradition and what is your favorite celebration?
B= My favorite celebration is Christmas because it is a day where all my
family is together.
A= Well that is true spending as a family is very good! Last year we had the
celebration but we only made dinner because my grandmother got sick.
B= I understand it was difficult! What kind of food do you eat for
Thanksgiving?
A= My mother makes baked turkey, lettuce salad, baked potatoes and rice,
usually as a drink she makes horchata. And what do you usually do at
Christmas?
B= Mmm how delicious! At Christmas we make tamales, sandwiches and
Christmas dinner, remember that this date is celebrated annual.
