Was Project
Gunrunner a False
Flag Attack?
In late February, CBS reporter Sharyl Attkisson brought the
story of “Project Gunrunner” to the mainstream reporting
that the Federal Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, and Firearms
(ATF) allowed the sales of hundreds of firearms, to
suspicious buyers, to land in the hands of criminals; all in
the name of tracing said weapons to bring down drug
cartels in Mexico.
Attkisson’s initial report revealed the fact that Border Patrol
Agent Brian Terry was murdered in December 2010 and two
of the assault rifles recovered from the crime scene
(firearms purchased during the project) were traced back to
a Glendale, Arizona gun store.
The story becomes wary when we learn that the ATF was
alerted to suspicious purchases in the Phoenix, Arizona area
in late 2009 by gun store owners who were reluctant to sale
to individuals purchasing multiple weapons, preferred by
Mexican cartel drug traffickers and paying in cash;
sometimes carried in paper bags. Incredibly, after the alerts,
ATF then began to work with gun store owners to allow the
sale of the weapons (up to forty AK 47 assault rifles at one
time) with aspirations to bring down cartel gun traffickers.
As a part of “Project Gunrunner,” operation “Fast and
Furious” in Arizona led to the indictment of 20 defendants
conspiring to deal firearms without a license. The
indictment covers a 10 month span (Oct. 2009- Aug. 2010)
with over 760 firearms purchased by straw buyers, buyers
who falsely claim that they are the actual buyer of the
firearm; information required through ATF Form 4473.

Although arrests were made in connection with Agent
Terry’s murder, 20 indictments from operation “Fast and
Furious,” and the two firearms found at the crime scene
traced to the Arizona gun store working in tandem with the
ATF, no one has been charged with the Agent’s death.
So who’s to blame? Why was operation “Fast and Furious”
allowed to run? Who knew of this radical practice of letting
guns “walk?” And more importantly, who benefits from
these obscene actions?
“Project Gunrunner” began as a pilot project in 2005 in
Laredo, Texas to help battle the trafficking of firearms into
Mexico from the U.S. June 2007; the ATF published a
strategy document, Southwest Border Initiative: Project
Gunrunner, which outlined four crucial components of the
2 project: “the expansion of gun tracing in Mexico,
international coordination, domestic activities, and
intelligence.”
After concerns were expressed regarding operation “Fast
and Furious” from ATF agents, Phoenix Gun Trafficking
Group (Group VII) Supervisor, David J. Voth, sent an email
to Group VII assuring that close attention was being paid to
the case by people of rank and authority. In the March 12,
2010 email Voth also seemed to insult the group by stating:
“If you don’t think this is fun you’re in the wrong line of
work – period!” suggesting ATF agents, with opposing views
of the operation, join the Maricopa County jail to serve
lunch to inmates.
In an April 2, 2010 email to U.S. Attorney Emory Hurley and
Special Agent in Charge George Gillett Jr., Voth expressed
his belief that the ATF was “righteous” in their plans and “to
rush in to arrest any one person without taking in to
account the entire scope of the conspiracy would be ill
advised to the overall good of the mission.”
Voth’s righteous belief and the actions of operation “Fast
and Furious” resulted in only 103 firearms being recovered
out of approximately 760 that were allowed to walk. Over
600 weapons are now in the hands of criminals who are
willing to kill just as is the case in the murder of Agent Terry.
In a November 2010 review of the ATF’s “Project
Gunrunner” by the Office of the Inspector General, the OIG
deemed the project unsuccessful due to the focus on gun
dealer inspection and straw buyers rather than targeting
higher level traffickers and smugglers and not making full
use of intelligence, technological, and prosecutorial
resources.
The OIG report also recognized the ATF’s flaws in the
project as the result of inadequate communication with the
Mexican government concerning gun traces.
With about 760 weapons bought illegally and only a mere
14% of those weapons recovered, it seems safe to say
who’s to blame for the complete failure of the project.
“Righteous” beliefs and “good results” also appear to be the
culprits in permitting this asinine method to be
implemented.
Darren Gil (lead ATF official in Mexico during the operation)
asked his supervisor in Washington D.C. of the director’s

awareness of the operation. Gil’s supervisor responded,
“Not only is the director aware of it, D.O.J.’s aware of it.” Gil
also spoke of Lenny Breuer (senior Justice Official) and
acting ATF Director Kenneth Melson both visiting Mexico,
on separate occasions, to speak to ATF staff. Phrases such
as “it’s a good case” and “getting good results” were used
by Breuer and Melson while in Mexico.
In an interview with Univision’s Jorge Ramos, President
Obama adamantly denied having any knowledge of “Project
Gunrunner.” “I did not authorize it. Eric Holder the Attorney
General did not authorize it. He’s been very clear that our
policy is to catch gun runners and put them in jail.”
Whether the president knew of the operation, we may
never be able to prove. However, Gil’s account of the
events during the operation does contradict the president’s
statements to the Univision reporter leaving the question:
who’s really telling the truth?
U.S. Senator Charles Grassley, a ranking member of the
judiciary committee, began receiving documented evidence
from ATF Agents who were driven to come forward after
Agent Terry’s death. Senator Grassley then began to send
inquiries to acting ATF director Melson concerning the
operation and its connection, if any, to the agent’s murder.
His requests were never answered by Melson, however,
Senator Grassley did receive a letter from the Justice
Department claiming that the ATF makes every effort to
prevent the illegal purchase of firearms and their
transportation to Mexico. The letter also requested that the
judiciary committee not question law enforcement about
any pending criminal investigation and refer any inquiries to
the OIG. The February 4, 2011 letter reminded the Senator
of the Department’s long-standing policy prohibiting any
disclosure of non-public information about pending
investigations.
We must keep in mind that a policy is just a policy; a set
guideline for procedure. The Department’s policy is not
mandated by any law. Also, Gil’s statements along with
Senator Grassley’s efforts reveal the determination of the
Department of Justice to refuse the release of
documentation (incriminating evidence) to the committee.
So what is the benefit of allowing firearms into Mexico?
Evidence points to Obama’s efforts to disarm the American
Public.
April 2009, The Washington Times reported on Obama’s
meeting with Mexican President Felipe Calderon in Mexico
City. Obama told Calderon that the U.S. is to blame for most
of the drug violence in Mexico and that over 90% of guns
recovered in Mexico came from the U.S., however, Obama
exaggerated the statistic. The president’s view on the
violence in Mexico and his obstinate opposition of gun
ownership lends credence to his involvement and/or
acknowledgement of operation “Fast and Furious” to
disarm the American People.
Evidence of Obama’s efforts to eliminate the Second
Amendment can be supported by his nominations of anti-
gun advocates Sonia Sotomayor and Elena Kagan to the
Supreme Court as well as his nomination of Andrew Traver,
another anti-gun advocate, to head the ATF.
Obama has now thrown the first punch in his fight against
gun rights by secretly banning the re-importation of the
American made M1 Garand and Carbine rifles. Also on his
agenda are The Disarming American Citizens Act (H.R. 2159)
where the Attorney General may revoke the Second
Amendment right of any American he chooses based solely
on suspicion, and new ATF regulations requiring federally
licensed firearms dealers to report the sale of more than
one rifle. Gun store owners did report the purchase of more

medications. According to Shire
Pharmaceutical’s (makers of
Adderall) Medication Guide, for a diagnosis, at least six
symptoms must persist for six months ranging from poor
listening, lack of attention, and forgetfulness to being
intrusive, squirming or fidgeting, and inappropriate running
or climbing.
Growing up I displayed many of the above behaviors, and
more-than-likely you did as well. The correction of my
behavior was not facilitated via medication, it was instituted
through discipline. Presently many parents and teachers
seem apt, perhaps for a quick fix, to medicate children who
display symptoms of ADHD.
Adderall and Ritalin are two of the main psychotropic drugs
being prescribed for millions of children in the U.S., but how
much information do we really know about these drugs?
Ritalin (Methylphenidate) is a Schedule II drug and is in the
class of medications called Central Nervous System
Stimulants (CNS). Along with the treatment of ADHD, Ritalin
is also used in the treatment of narcolepsy. As with any
pharmaceutical, Ritalin has a laundry list of side effects
including nervousness, nausea, and headache. Some serious
side effects can be an irregular heartbeat, seizures, and
hallucinations. Ritalin may also cause sudden death in
children and teenagers with heart problems and may slow a
child’s growth and weight gain.
I believe that the risk of any of these side effects cannot
rationalize the medicating of any child for the sole purpose
of correcting misbehavior. Texas U.S. Congressman Ron
Paul, MD addressed the use of Ritalin in a September 2004
article titled “America’s Children Should not be Medicated”
stating the following:
“The use of Ritalin and other drugs on
youngsters who simply exhibit typical
rambunctious, fidgety, and impatient
behavior is nothing short of criminal. It
may be easier to teach and parent
drugged kids, but convenience is no
justification for endangering them."
From 1990 through 2000 over 569 children were
hospitalized due to Ritalin use. Thirty-eight of the children’s
conditions were life threatening and 186 died. Perhaps the
hospitalization and deaths of these children are one of the
reasons why five states, including Texas, filed class action
lawsuits in 2000 against Novartis (makers of Ritalin).
The lawsuit alleged that Novartis and the American
Psychiatric Association conspired to invent ADHD to create
a profitable market for Ritalin. Children and Adults with
Attention Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (CHAAD) was also
accused of deliberately attempting to increase the supply of
2 Ritalin and to ease restrictions to increase profits for
Novartis. CHAAD is a “non-profit” organization representing
individuals with ADHD with a full-time advocate in
Washington, D.C. who works with Congress and
departments such as the Department of Education, to
present the organization’s perspective on legislation and
policies.
By the end of 2002 all five lawsuits were dismissed and
Novartis spokesman released a statement saying that the
dismissal of all five lawsuits “sends a strong message that
the decision of how to treat ADHD is between the parent,
patient, and physician, and has no place in the courts.”
Adderall (Dextroamphetamine and Amphetamine) is a
Schedule II drug and may have many of the same side
effects as Ritalin. Adderall treatment may also cause
psychotic manic symptoms in patients with no prior history
of mental illness.
In 2005 the death of 12 children in the U.S. prompted
Canada to suspend the sale of Adderall while the Federal
Drug Administration did nothing except for the agreement
to a label change warning of the potential danger when
used by children with heart conditions. Five of the deaths
were in children with known heart defects. With less than
half of the 12 deaths in children with heart conditions, the
FDA’s decision to simply add another warning and not
suspend the sale of the drug, seems reckless.
Russell Katz, MD (Director of FDA Neurological Drugs Office)
stated that “the other seven children had unusual
circumstances making a link to Adderall hard to interpret.”
One child was in boot-camp exercising in 110 degree
weather and two others had high levels of the drug
indicating an overdose.
The FDA felt that no “immediate changes were warranted in
the FDA labeling or approved use of the drug based upon its
preliminary understanding of Health Canada’s analyses of
adverse events,” according to an FDA statement regarding
the deaths of the children. With 12 deaths in a four year
span the FDA should have followed suit with Canada
pending a thorough investigation.
In 1996 the DEA released a report concerning the use of
Ritalin and other stimulants used for the treatment of
ADHD. The DEA was alarmed by the increase of the
prescriptions for the CNS stimulants. The DEA
acknowledged a 500% increase for Methylphenidate
(Ritalin) and a 400% increase for amphetamine
(Adderall).They also conceded to the “bogus medical
practice” as a “quick-fix” and leading to “large profits.” I
believe the most pertinent finding in the DEA report is the
fact that “we have become the only country in the world
where children are prescribed such a vast quantity of
stimulants that share virtually the same properties as
cocaine.”
If your child exhibits any symptoms of ADHD it is imperative
that you think twice about putting your child on medication.
There are a number of teachers who suggest that
medicating your child would be to his/her benefit.
When a parent(s) is presented with such a suggestion, most
hold the conviction that they should follow through with
the teacher’s advice. When parents refuse the suggested
regiment, some teachers have the audacity to threaten the
parent by reporting them to Child Protection Services for
medical negligence.
In 2003 the 78th Texas Legislature passed two bills
protecting parents of children showing symptoms of ADHD.
The first bill, HB 1406, prohibits a school district employee,
who is not a registered nurse, physician, or a certified
mental health professional, to suggest that your child be
put on medication or even suggest a diagnosis. HB 1406
also prohibits the school administration from barring the
child from class or any school related activity when a parent
refuses to medicate their child.
HB 320 protects the parent(s) against the threat, or actual
reporting of the parent(s) to CPS for neglect under
Subchapter B Chapter 261, Family Code.
Options are available for alternative treatments tailored for
children with ADHD. One alternative is neurofeedback
where a technique is used for learning self-regulation. With
this treatment the patient can learn how to suppress brain
activity related to distraction, all the while, strengthening
brain activity associated with focused attention.
With at least seven million children in the U.S. diagnosed
with ADHD and CNS stimulants being the most commonly
prescribed drug for adolescents, from a 2007-2008 NCHS
report, there seems to be a “genuine” problem with ADHD
in the U.S. We must return to a time when “kids will be
kids” and work with and discipline our children rather than
drugging them for our, or their teachers, convenience.

This my friends, all points to a false flag attack against
American gun owners. The fact that the Justice Department
under the Obama Administration knowingly allowed guns to
“tumble” into the hands of suspected criminals, the
persistent non-cooperation of the ATF and OIG with Senator
Grassley’s investigation, and now Obama looking to use
executive action to curtail gun rights puts in to place the
execution of a false flag attack against America. How else is
Obama going to protect us other than blaming and
punishing the American People?
