TRACTORS MACHINE: TS100 and TS110 Tractors with Electroshift Transmission SUBJECT: TS Power Shuttle Introduction 4/00 -T14 CONDITION ‘The ELECTROSHIFT transmission on TS Series tractors has been further enhanced with the introduction of a Power Shuttle. The Power Shuttle lever, located to the let of the steering wheel, provides control of forward or reverse travel, as opposed to the previous mechanical selection. This allows a more convenient shuttle operation. for the driver, and also incorporates an Auto-Take-Off feature, allowing the drive to be engaged from neutral, into either forward or reverse, without using the clutch pedal. Tractors equipped with the Power Shuttle are supplied with @ new operator's manual that fully describes the functions of the new transmission for the operator. ‘A Repair Manual Supplement, covering this topic, will be available and will also be the subject. ofa future bulletin. CORRECTION Production: Effective from serial #1393078 ‘The Power Shuttle has been introduced into Production. Service: ‘The Power Shuttle introduction has atfected the following areas of the tractor: 1. Wiring harnesses 2. Transmission top and side covers 3. Revised transmission calibration, additional error codes, and revised "H" Menu routines 4, Revised hydraulic piping 5. Additional electrical components, solenoids, potentiometers, switches, and a new processor NOTE: Due to the expense and extensive modifications required, the feature cannot be retrofitted to prior non-shuttle units. ADDITIONAL INFORMATION APPENDIX 1 details the revised transmission calibration and additional transmission error codes applicable to the POWER SHUTTLE transmission. WARRANTY STATUS. If, after the auto clutch calibration has been performed, using H1 mode, the shiftshutting is stil not as required, then the calibration may be fine tuned manually, using the H2 mode. Clutch fill time calibration (HE Menu Mode) Requited ifthe following has been observe * A “clunk” is heard when engaging the clutch during inching operations. Clutch and Synchronizer calibration set up Procedure: Prior to conducting a transmission clutch calibration, the following points should be checked. + The temperature of the transmission oil is warm, atleast 20°C (68°F) + The parking brake is applied * The air conditioning, if equipped, is switched ott. + All electrical and hydraulic services are deselected. WARNING: The calibration procedure is controled by the electronic management system. To prevent inadvertent movement of the tractor, park the tractor away from any obstacies, firmly apply the parking brake and block the wheels, front and rear, 69 TRACTORS. SPRING PRESSURE AND SYNCHRONIZER CALIBRATION Entering the calibration mode : Press and hold both the upshit and downshift buttons while starting the tractor. Alternative method : Install diagnostic tool 4FT960 into the Black diagnostic connector, located by the fuse box. Star the tractor. Enter mode Ht ‘The word CAL should appear on the instrument Cluster display. This will be replaced after a few ‘seconds by the oil temperature, in degrees Celsius. Set the engine speed to 1200 +/- 100 rpm. NOTE: The engine RPM must be stable with no noticeable surging. Ifnecessary, adjust the throttle position to achieve this, stil remaining within the 1200 +/- 100 rpm range. ©3 and C4 Calibration Place the two gear lovers in the forward position. NOTE: No need to use the clutch pedal. TRACTORS.
