Our new Superhero

It all started long ago in New York City where the

greatest superhero back then was Spiderman.

It was also when my dad was just sixteen years old still
in High School. He was one of scientific kids but was also
timid & weak, and was always bullied. His mom (my
Grandma) would always tell him that someday things would
change, but it never did.

But the next day something incredible happened that

changed his life forever.

Mostly everybody in New York City would always say that

Spiderman was the only best superhero there ever was,
and any other teenager or child that would say that he’s
better than Spiderman would not even come close to his
superior abilities.

Until, the day my dad went to a museum with his

classmates as a field trip to see one of the greatest
scientists in all of New York City to show some of his
gadgets and at the end he would ask for a volunteer
to demonstrate one of his extraordinary gadgets that
I know for a fact would be sensational. I had a
feeling that my dad would never miss an opportunity
like this.

The first time my dad step foot into the museum he

almost thought he was in heaven. The place was filled
with booths explaining one fact to another and
showing awesome science experiments. And in the
Museum my dad learned new things there. That he
never knew before, and was astonished by the new
scientific terms for words he never used. But he
knew that this was just the beginning that the real
thing was going on later for certain he knew that he
would not miss one bit of it. But like in every time
there’s a scientist showing his awesome gadgets in
New York City Spiderman always knows that there
might be some trouble so he came as his identity
Peter Parker.

After everything was taking care of and the really

famous Celebrity came the show had begun.

“Ladies and Gentlemen I am glad that all of you could

make it today to see me James Moore one of the
greatest scientist ever known in New York City.”
“But I am sad to say that the gadgets I made except
for the very extraordinary one will be coming late so
with no further ado I would like to introduce one of
my best gadgets made and would love to pick out a
volunteer to demonstrate.” I knew this was my only
chance so I crossed my fingers tightly praying that
he would pick me when he finally chose someone I was
shocked to know that the person he picked was
actually me. At first I thought I was just dreaming
but when I found it was really me I almost fainted.
Even walking up the stairs made me feel weird, after
they had strapped me on they pressed the button I
was so happy that I was actually was going to be a
part of science. But soon something weird happened
and I had the shock like lightning and fainted. But
when I woke up I had soon gained powers and became
the new superhero of New York City. And that’s all I
ever knew about my dad.
