"God Sees the Truth, But Waits" is

a short story by Russian author Leo

Tolstoy first published in 1878.
The scene took place in a cell
TEST PAPER
where a prisoner and a murderer is
having a conversation.

At first, I
thought this story might be boring
but little did I know a big twist
did come out on the last part. The
dialogue or the specific scene of
the story already showed the whole
plot of the story. Specifically
when Makar confessed everything. As
Makar whispered "forgive me", I
already now and felt that he
commited something wrong. The mood
of the scene or passage was gloomy
because of the cold appearance of
characters and their setting. The
accused victim was imprisoned for
26 years yet despair did not
prevailed on him. This is a good
example that faith and hope fruits
blessing. Overall the passage was
short yet full of emotions and
lessons
