How much important to plant trees in the mountainous area

Trees is one of the factors that gives us a good amount of oxygen and

cleanses the air for us to breath in without worrying of our health. It is one of the few

things that we must protect in order to save our own mother earth. But as cruel as we

are humans, we kept on cutting trees illegally in order for us to grow more advanced

in terms of technology and other things. What happens if there will be no trees?

Floods will easily be formed and landslides and other soil erosions will occur from

time to time that is why it is important for us to plant trees in the mountains because

the trees prevent the water from the mountain to hit us directly and not just that, trees

also hold the ground together because its roots hold the terrain together from where it

grows. Cutting trees in our mountain areas puts our society in a huge hazard, it is

because, as the trees keeps on constantly declining, the hazardous events will keep

on occurring and there will be a little if not no chance for us to reduce the damage it

will deal. Tree planting is easy but for the tree to grow takes a lot of patience and

hard work. A tree takes about 7 to 30 years, based on the weather condition of the

area, for it to fully grow. Imagine that? A sapling that is being cared for a decade just

to be cut down in a minute. All the hard work that is poured in that tree is just wasted

for nothing and that is dangerous for us human beings. As the climate changes keep

on progressing day after day, we won’t know what might happen to us in the near

future.
