We have on board separate DSL internet antenna that pointing mannually.

To perform adjustment on
new location we should have access to iDirect modem which is receiving signal from antenna. On board
we have instruction how to perform this adjustment and how to get acces to modem.

Such long adjustment of internet antenna on board QMS Lulwa after barge move on 1st of March
obtained due to wrong procedure of accessing to modem. I have contacted to technical support, have
provided remote access to my laptop that was connected to modem and after updating of software and
adjustment we established connection between modem and antenna.

To transfer antenna on new obstruction free place, to adjust length of cables to reach antrenna on new
location and to adjust antenna to catch best strength of the signal it took three hours more.

To provide faster internet connection after barge move, as minimum, we need on board clear and
actual instruction how to get access to iDirect modem. In such case in depends of new location and
nedness of antenna transfer it may take from one to four hours for adjustment.

As maximum - install VSAT system with automatic pointing to provide best service for our client.

1 – after connection of LAN cable between modem and laptop check modem`s IP via iSite software

2 – configure laptop IP - modem IP +1, subnet mask - 255.255.255.248, getway – modem IP from iSite

3 – go to iSite password P@55w0rd! ( 0-is zero )

4 – choose dish icon pointing

5 – after removing TX cable press start to point antenna

6 – open command promt and write ( telnet10.62.16.185) modem IP User name: admin password:
P@55w0rd!

7 – Type ( rx snr ) rx snr is signal. Adjust to get 14 at least. 16 is maximum. 10 is minimum that
acceptable.
