Introduction to Photography

SY BAMMC SEM III

Module 1:
Familiarize students with the history and working of the
camera. A brief understanding of the effect of light on
exposure, importance of framing. Also, a basic
introduction to aperture, shutter speed, ISO etc the
basic essentials for taking effective and professional
photographs.

Module 2:
Introduction to how camera sees as compared to
human eyes. Types and effects of lenses on
photographs. Image formats and importance of image
re-sizing.
