Rasit
RASIT is a ground Doppler radar surveillance system developed by the French company Thomson-CSF.

                                     

1. History. (The story)

Thomson-CSF now, Thales developed for the armed forces in the 1970s, following the program sheets
developed in 1967 and 1968. One of its subsidiaries, LMT Radio Professionnelle, based in Boulogne-
Billancourt, begins its construction from 1975, one in a series that began in 1978. About a hundred were
delivered in 1980, including three under shelters for the French army, 300 in 1983, and 450 in 1985. In 1983,
LMT signed an agreement with LCTAR The Thomson Applications Center Radar and SEL in which the former
provides a third of the subsystems for the RASIT series built by the SEL of the army in West Germany. In
1988, the 6th Artillery Regiment, the French is to experiment with a new radar: the RASIMAT, can lift the air to

5. De Doctrine DEmploi Des. (Employment Doctrine)
