As computers are being used more and more in education, there will be soon no role for

teachers in the classroom.

In this challenging world, education has not been limited behind closed doors and blackboards.
Undoubtedly, modern IT appliances are aimed to enhance the learning experience. However, in a
technology-infused learning environment, the role of the teacher will remain ever-important. ++

Primarily, teaching is definitely not about facts and figures. Teachers create a classroom culture
that motivates students and leads them on the path of success. Additionally, they inspire, share
experience, help learners struggle and never give up. In particular, in a classroom students are
guided in sharing information, working on group projects and exploring the most suitable
sources. Even in the COVID-19 pandemic networked together online fosters a more
collaborative learning background. Consequently, acquired knowledge becomes available.

Furthermore, educators teach students life skills and values. They encourage children to
question, to think about consequences and to be creative. For instance, most of successful and
famous professionals have been provided with school education by their tutors. David and
Catherine Cook, Blake Ross, Cameron Johnson are among them. As Sidney Hook said everyone
who remembers his own education remembers teachers, not methods and techniques. The
teacher is the heart of the educational system. In my humble opinion, students and teachers’
cooperation are inseparable. Definitely, professional development of teachers is necessary for
them to keep up with the changing trends in education. Thus, a constantly trained and focused
teacher will go a long way in the progress of the students.
