The reason why I decided to take this story is because touched my feelings.

Sometimes all
the good we do for others is not seen and appreciated, but i'm sure it makes a big
difference.

The Happy Prince

Most of swallows leave to migrate to Egypt to warmer places just when winter is
coming, but one of them found a beautiful city, falls in love with it and decides to stay for a
little while to have a rest.

Six weeks later tired of it decides to leave and get back on the road again. Before the
journey little Swallows found the statue of the Happy Prince, very sumptuous with two rubies
instead of eyes and a gem on the sword, and decided to stay over night.

The Prince was very sad seeing so many poor people in his city and convinces the swallow
to take the gem and give it to a poor lady with her sick child, to do so the swallow had to
sleep with the Prince, postponing the departure.

The following day,on the request of the Happy Prince,the swallow ,sad to do it , brought the
eye of ruby to a student who was writing a comedy and had cold. The, other ruby brought it
to a poor match girl.

The Prince eventually remained blind .The swallow had no heart to leave Happy Prince
alone blind , he promised to always remain with him and tell him stories.

The following day the Prince generosity did not end and he asked the little swallow to
remove the gold foil that coveres him in order to take it to the orphans of the city.

When the cold arrives the swallow felt he will die and said to the Prince that
unfortunatelywill need to leave him. The Prince happy and sure that the little swallow
decided to take again his journey,he wished him well. With last force of his breathlittle
swallow told him that where he is going is called the Realm of Death.

Love and loiality of little swallow broke The Happy Prince in the same istant of his death.

The Mayor of the city decided to melt the statue founding it without the gold foil and
without the rubies.Surprisingly he heart remains intact . Surprised to find a heart in the
statue they trown it into the landfill next to the little swallow. One day God orderd an angel
to pick two most precious things from the earth to the heaven, so for eternial paradise he
handed littel swallow and the Prince heart to God.

- I liked the story as I believe there is someone up above watching our actions and
purness of our heart.
