The Digital Infrastructure must excel in the aspects of:

Coverage Quality Affordability

(availability)
Ministry of Communications and Informatics Republic of Indonesia 6
Passive Infrastructure

In the 5G era, BTS locations will be dominated by short

towers but very tightly placed types (use small cells). This
needs to be supported by easy access to passive
infrastructures, such as street light poles, traffic light poles,
billboards, bus stops, and others.

Need Local Governments Support

Joint fiber ducts are needed as distribution lines of fiber

optic networks and their extensions to residential and
office areas for efficiency and orderliness of urban
planning,

Fiberization efforts need to be accelerated by the

telecommunications operators so that inter-BTS connections and
middle-mile/backhaul networks have large capacity transmission
and very responsive
