1. Find the main idea of paragraphs 1, 2, 9, 10, 11, and 12, and write them in a
paragraph.
Paragraph one:
Together, these three factors reshape the foundations of the modern economy. First, the
digital revolution has vastly increased the influence, flexibility, and agility of businesses large
and small, creating new economic players, such as "multinational micro-enterprises" -
technology-intensive companies born all over the world. Second, international competition draws
millions of new workers and consumers to more and more "competitive peaks" rather than
"competitive bottoms." In this competition, emerging countries become innovative, engineering
originals, and champions of skills acquisition. Third, cultural and structural trends change the
nature of social and economic interactions by changing people's wishes and preferences, such as
the immediate satisfaction of service delivery expectations with a single click or seamless
interoperability between products. and electronic devices.
Paragraph two:
The obvious difference between product and service markets is fictitious: value creation
and innovation increasingly occur at their intersections. Business-related services are often
critical to making products attractive to consumers and generating most of the added value in
terms of growth and jobs.
Paragraph nine:
The car has become a computer on wheels. Software is revolutionizing the automotive
industry and, until recently, it was one of the most traditional and hierarchical industries in the
world. For example, Tesla, founded in 2003, has shown that there is no reason why a technology
company cannot become an automobile company because the design comes from California and
the modules are delivered by suppliers around the world. Final product. Assembled at the
contract factory. Electronics and automation have become key components of the assembly line.
Paragraph ten:
Despite the slowdown in growth in emerging markets, there may be a continued process
of convergence in the coming decades. As emerging countries move up the value chain, they
increasingly compete with manufacturers and service providers in advanced economies. They can
now outperform more advanced economies by embracing the latest technology and offering
products and services globally, rather than developing a strong industry sector locally.
Paragraph eleven
The logic of the emerging new economy is heavily influenced by ongoing cultural and
structural changes, some of which are technology-induced, while others are the result of broader
social trends. Its effect is profound, from the changing nature of work and its increasing fluidity
