The most important requirement for modern Cost

transmissions is the reduction of the package
length. Particularly with regard to all type of
hybrid transmission, a reduced axial package
length is essential. Conventional ESync
System
ESync provides an axial package reduction
of up to 11 mm in one synchronizer system.
This additional available space might be ESync
used for a reduction of transmission or for &
additional components.

The concept can be applied to single and

multiple cone synchronizers as well as to 39 mm 34 mm 28 mm
the Segmented Synchronizer System S3
