HEART RATE

MONITOR
OBJECTIVES
 Create a mechanism that measures the player's pulse through
a simple circuit.
 The goal is to pass a ring from one side of the wire to the
other without touching the wire. If the ring and the wire
touch, a led and an audible signal will light up indicating that
we lost.
MATERIALS
 Wooden box
 Wire
 2 batteries and a battery holder
 One bulb (led)
 Cables
 A bell.
PROCEDURE
1. Cut and assemble the ring that we must pass through the route.
2. Place tape on one end of the wire to prevent it from activating
the circuit.
3. Bend the wire to make the route of the game.
4. On the vertical bars, fix the wire using the silicone.
5. Connect the bulb with the batteries and in turn to the ring.
6. Connect the ring to the batteries.
RESULTS – CONCLUSIONS
If I tape the wire ring and it touches the path wire, it not light the
led bulb and the buzzer does not sound.
If you don't touch the wire circuit with the wire ring, you win the
game.
If you touch the wire circuit with the wire ring, the bell rings and
the led bulb lights up.
If current flows through the circuit, it is an alternating current.
if you touch the wire circuit with the wire ring, you lose the game.
