large. The Mohathemeem summoned the farmers and inquired with them about the incident.

‘GO’ is the single- worded, shortest sentence. What could, then, be the longest sentence? How
many words? Try guessing. The longest sentence has four lakh words. Yes, it’s a thousand page
novel titled Ducks, Newburyport, conceived and composed by Lucy Ellman. This thousand page
novel won this year’s(2020) 10,000 pound Goldsmith’s Prize, for breaking the mould and
extending the novel’s from. “It’s a massive achievement ,” exclaimed a judge. “This gripping,
hypnotic novel remakes the novel…….” Extolled another judge. The ambitious form of the novel
initially invited rejections till Galley Beggar finally published it. The novel is in the form of an
internal monologue of a mother in Ohio as she bakes pies in her kitchen. According to the writer,
this one long run on sentence book makes its readers float around to sink or swim, engulfed in
one woman’s thought.

b. Read the following passage and transform it into a tree diagram.
The given tree diagram presents the classification of vitamins. Vitamins are broadly of two types.
They are : 1) Soluble vitamin in water and 2) Soluble in fats. Vitamin B and Vitamin C fall in
