1. Technology isn’t inherently good or bad, it’s the culture we build

around it and the way we use it. Although modern technologies
have many disadvantages, it has definitely made our life easier. In
my perspective modern technology is good but equally bad for us.
Firstly technology has made it easy for humans to search for all the
information as using web browsers like google, UC browser and
safari you get all the information you need which saves a lot of time
has previously people used to go to library to gather all the
information they need, they had to find all the books and write
down the information which used to take a hefty lot of time, but
with the modern technology now it hardly takes some minutes or
seconds for us to take out the information we need. Using web
browsers and installing many apps can also be a huge risk has many
of our private information can be easily hacked and used
inappropriately which can put us in a big danger. In many cases
many scams have taken place where hackers have stolen lakhs and
lakhs of rupees from the bank accounts of many people. It is a fact
that modern technology has replaced old technology. And we
cannot imagine our lives without this replacement. Letters were the
most common mean of communication less than a century ago, but
now no one would even think of writing a letter because why prefer
a parchment on a video call? Instant messaging and sharing of
photos and videos were never so easy before. We have to accept
that it’s only the use of technology, which makes it harmful
otherwise nothing can beat the level of comfort in our lives because
of technology. Video calling your friends and family members living
in other countries has become very easy has using apps like
Instagram and WhatsApp it Is possible to do so. Especially during
the pandemic when we couldn’t meet anyone this was the only
medium to contact our family members. The disadvantage of using
social media apps such as snapchat; Instagram and Meta are that it
is very addictive especially for children because of which it makes us
loose productivity and lazy. By using latest technology banking has
also become very easy as now u don’t have to carry cash and credit
cards everywhere instead just use apps such as google pay to
transfer money by just scanning the QR code by using your phone.
Less than a decade ago no one ever thought that they would be
paying in bitcoins rather than dollars. Cryptocurrency has recently
got viral because of its usefulness. No one would now have to wait
in the long line of banks just for paying their utility bills. Too much
content, gaming, and indoor activities have impacted how people
live their lives – in turn leading to high obesity rates, more health
issues, and new kinds of addictions. An advance in technology
involves the involvement of machines in everyday life, man’s
departure from the environment and nature grows. “When person x
wants to go from point to point using object A person y will tell
person x that he can easily go from point to point using object B
instead of object A. books are something that hold aesthetic values
from the start as you connect yourself to it while reading.
Bookstores as well as libraries are institutions that in themselves
hold some aesthetic and cultural values. They promote the
interaction of human relationships, bookstores entail that you
interact with other people such as librarian, but with recent
innovations people have started using E-books. In my perspective
old innovations hold a lot of value as new innovations are made on
the basis of old one. According to me the modern technology is
really helpful but should be used precisely.
