As Christian, or as a member of your Church, what is your response to the Pandemic?

As a Christian myself, I’d help the less fortunate people who are also affected by this pandemic
by giving them assistance such as foods and other basic needs. I would also wear a facemask
every time that I’ll go outside so that I won’t spread the virus and possibly infect another person.
Following the health protocols given by the government is already a huge help for the
community.

"The Challenge of Today's Pandemic is not only medical, it is also Profoundly Spiritual".

It is profoundly spiritual because it deals with the provision of compassion and empathy during
periods of heightened stress, distress and anxiety within care. During this time, spiritual care is
an important part of holistic health management, especially when it comes to coping with illness,
pain, and death. People's views, attitudes, emotions, and behavior are all influenced by their
relationship with the transcendent or sacred. A traumatic experience or a life-threatening illness,
physical pain is frequently only a part of the struggle that a person faces. Emotional and mental
distress, as well as spiritual distress or struggle, are all possibilities. The last occurs when a
person's basic belief system is shattered, and it can happen to anyone, religious or not. This
means that in the event of a catastrophic disaster, such as the Covid-19 pandemic, we must
ensure that everyone receives spiritual assistance.
