As director of FUTURA – Centre for Contemporary Art, I hereby declare that a steady
and flourishing collaboration is currently carried out in the frame of a residency
partnership with Viafarini Organization for Contemporary Art. This collaboration has been
existing since 2010, and is still active in 2013.

The collaboration between the two organizations aims to the mobility of one Italian and
one Czech artist or curator each year, to be hosted in our respective institutions.
Each organization guarantees to their guests:

_ hospitality in the respective venues;

_ curatorial assistance;
_ professional facilitation in researches about local artistic and cultural scenario, i.e.
facilitating the access to documentation resources;
_ assistance in organizing studio visits with art professionals and communication;

Apart from these services the two organizations do not provide any additional bursary or
economic support to the selected guests, but help them in grant seeking, by providing
letter of invitation, upon request.
