DEFINITION

Pine wood is a material that is extracted from the tree that bears
the same name. It is one of the most used today for its abundance
in nature, resistance, lightness and ease when working with it.

It is used quite frequently for the realization of rustic style furniture,


especially when it is used in natural or ecru color.

Pine is used mainly for the construction and manufacture of


furniture and other parts of a home. In addition, this wood has
other purposes, in carpentry, in shipbuilding, bridges, fences,
walkways, poles, scaffolding or as fuel in houses and companies. Its
use has become even more widespread after verifying the excellent
qualities it has for use with glued laminated wood.

Ease of sawing, brushing, drying, gluing, nailing, screwing and finishing.
It is impregnable

DEFINITION

Fir wood has a whitish color gamut, which can reach pinkish
colorations and has a matte appearance. Sapwood is not visually
distinguishable from heartwood.

It is used to obtain furniture veneer and in building cladding. The spruce species is
requested for the manufacture of construction elements due to its price, which is
cheaper than other species.
Among all the known species of fir, red fir wood stands out for its uses.
Hard white to reddish brown. Sapwood is slightly lighter

It is a soft wood, which needs to be treated. It is


susceptible to the action of fungi and insects.

It has great elasticity, a property that makes it easy to work
