Part A. Grammar note.

ADJECTIVES are words that describe or modify


another person, thing, or animal in a sentence.
They give us more information about people,
animals, or things, like their: size, shape, age,
color, origin, or material.

Part B. How to use Adjectives in English.

There are 2 basic positions for adjectives:


1) Before the noun
2) After the verb TO BE (am, is, are)

GRAMMAR

When more than one adjective comes before a noun, the adjectives are normally in a particular order.
Adjectives which describe opinions or attitudes (e.g. beautiful ) usually come first, before more neutral,
factual ones (e.g. red):

She was wearing a beautiful red coat.


Not: She was wearing a red beautiful coat.

We use COMPARISON OF EQUALITY (AS…. AS) to say that two people, things, and places are the same
in some way.
