day. Audiences – prosumers / fandom / interaction is greater

longer a social activity, it is individuals watching separate screens together. Films are
watched at home.

Before ads were TV / radio / magazines
personalised using your cookies. Every ¾ posts on insta is a targeted ad.
Before you knew what was an ad, now the lines are blurred. Love island – one big ad/
product placement is everywhere. Beats were everywre – saturated marketing. Death of the
catalogue. Future of ads – Now #ad is a legal requirement as it has become unclear what is

Technology has changed how we consume media totally – also changed how we react /
interact and respond. The intro of web 2.0 menas audiences are more active, less passive
and interact with
