Interactive Art Proposal

For my final Project I want to combine my new skills I learned in the class and as well

combined my own skills as photographer/editor. The new skill I highly enjoyed was probably

photoshop. You’d expect a photographer to already learn this skill way beforehand but not me. I

want to animate a portrait (a moving photograph). By this it will give a still photograph more life

and energy. The programs I will be using will be first Adobe lightroom, Photoshop, and a video

editing software (Debating to use Premier pro, After Effects, or even Final Cut Pro). Lightroom

and Photoshop must come first before any of the heavy video editing. With lightroom I will

adjust the photo(s) contrast, exposure, texture, saturation and etc. With Photoshop is where I cut

and possibly add more images to from net to make my composition a bit interesting. Lastly I will

be putting the edited images into the video editing software where I will make the certain parts of

the images to move (for example make the body parts move of a human being and etc). Possibly

will be adding music in the background just to add some flare. I see this project will benefit me

because I can add these interesting image compositions to my portfolio. This type work I can see

myself doing in future as I want to be involved in the music industry, these can possibly

beneficial to music artist as they can be used for advertisements for their social media outlets.
