Greetings of Peace!

Minimum Initial Service Package (MISP) for Sexual and Reproductive Health (SRH) is a
set of priority activities to be implemented in emergency situations with the goal of
reducing maternal mortalities, morbidities and disabilities through specific interventions
on coordination, prevention of gender-based violence, prevention of sexually transmitted
infections-human immune deficiency virus/ acquired immune deficiency syndrome (STI,
HIV and AIDS), maternal and neonatal care, and planning for comprehensive RH
following the SPHERE standard. When implemented in the early days of an emergency,
it can save lives and prevent illness, especially among women and girls.

Anent this, the Disaster Risk Reduction and Management in Health of the Ministry of
Health – BARMM together with the University Research Co., LLC (URC) will conduct a
training on Minimum Initial Service Package Training of Trainers (MISP-TOT) at
Koronadal City (venue to be determined) this August 23-27, 2021. May we request
two (2) participants, preferably the Reproductive Health Coordinator and Disaster
Risk Reduction and Management in Health (DRRM-H) Manager / Representative.
Travel expenses, hotel and accommodation will be shouldered by URC while per diems
will be charged to Ministry of Health-BARMM
