Which of the six events in Robert Gagne’s instructional design theory resonated the most with you?
Why?

In my grammar class, I use all of the events proposed by Gagne’s instructional design theories.
However, I tend to emphasize the 6th event – eliciting performance. Specifically, I have my
students watch videos that I have recorded explaining grammar points. Then, during the class
meeting, I will have them elicit performance by doing group work or discussion on some
difficult questions that require higher thinking order such as comparing and contrasting two
tenses. If I see them have any grammar points that they are confused about, I will explain them
again.
