PET Practice Exam 4 Answer Key SPEAKING

Pupils are assessed on their own individual performance according to the following criteria:
• Grammar and Vocabulary – Pupils should use the appropriate vocabulary and structures in
their questions and answers.
• Pronunciation – Pupils’ pronunciation should be clear enough so as not to affect
communication, although first language interference should be expected and not penalised.
• Interaction – Pupils should take part in the interaction although some hesitation should be
expected and not penalised. They can ask for repetition or clarification, if necessary.
