Guide to Writing Your Internship Letter of Motivation

Your motivation letter should answer the following questions (if relevant):

What kind of internship would you like to do? (type of work, industry)
What dates are you available?
Why are you interested in this type or work / industry? (personally and professionally)
What relevant training, work experience or skills do you have?
What personal attributes do you have that are relevant to this internship?
Why do you want to do an internship, and why in Ireland?
What is your level of English and do you have any other language skills?
What are you doing at the moment? (work, study, volunteering…)
If studying, what is your current level, what is the duration of the course, when do you plan
to finish and what qualification will you attain?
