PERFECT TENSES

E.G. I have never sent an email before. ( present perfect simple )

John has never sent an email before.

SUBJECT + HAS/HAVE+ VERB 3/-ED = PRESENT PERFECT SIMPLE

Usage: it is used to show a present result or consequence of a past action

it is used also to talk about personal achievement/experience

E.G. I had never sent (1) an email until I started (2) working here. ( past perfect simple)

SUBJECT+HAD+VERB 3/-ED = PAST PERFECT SIMPLE

Usage: it is used to show that a past action finishes before another past action

E.G. I will have sent over 500 email by the end of this week! (Future perfect simple)

SUBJECT+ WILL + HAVE + VERB 3/ -ED = FUTURE PERFECT

Usage: it is used to show that a future action finishes before another future action or before a
future moment of time
