Bob and Maria are going on
a field trip. They are going
bowling with their class.

Maria loves to bowl. Her family
bowls in a league every
Saturday morning.

“Bob, do you like to bowl?” Maria
asks. Bob walks away from Maria.

At the bowling counter, Maria says,
“I need size 3 shoes, please.”

Bob moves in front of Maria and
says, “I’m getting my shoes first!”

Maria rolls the bowling ball and it
goes into the gutter.

Bob laughs and says, “You’re
a terrible bowler.
That is a big fat zero!”

Maria thinks to herself, “I might not
want to invite Bob to my party.”

We can make it
better!

Maria invites Bob
to her bowling party.
