4.0 UPPER AGE UMIT:


The Candidates Should have minimum two years of remaining service as on 0lr0202t.
5.0 TRAINING:
5.1 The candidates selecled lor the post shall normalty be required to undergo lraining for a
period of 1 year. During the period of training, they witt be ptaced as Junior Engineer Trainee
(S-l- Grade) in the pay scale of 31000-100000 (i.e. Rs.31000/- per month plus atlowances).
5.2 The setected candidates on successfu[ completion of training wilt be regutarized as Junior
Engineer Grade - ll in S-2 Grade (Rs.32000 - 110000).
6.0 PLACE OF POSTING:
Selected candidates are tiable lo be posted to work in any Unit / Area / Place under the control of
NLC lndia Limited or in any Joint Venture / Associate / Subsidiary Company of NLC lndia Limited,
to which they may be posled.
?.0 RESERVATIONS & REL/UANONS:
7.1 Reservation and relaxations for SC/SI/0BC (non-creamy tayer)/ EWS / PwBD (degree of
disabitity 40% & above) & Ex-servicemen candidates wilt be as per Government of lndia
guidelines.
7.2 Candidates betonging to 0BC(NCL)/ SC/ST categories should meet the etigibility norms
notified for UR category for consideration againsl unreserved (UR) vacancies. ln other words,
OBC (NCL) /SC/ST candidates apptying against unreserved vacancies shalt be considered
under generat standard of merit and no relaxations shalt be available for the candidates.
7.3 08C Candidates belonging to 'Creamy Layef are nol entitled to avail any concession
otherwise extended to 0BC (NCL) category. Such candidates have to indicate their calegory as
UR.
7.4 Candidates claiming to belong to any particular category shall necessarity furnish a vatid EWS
/ 0BC(NCL) ISC I ST I Disability / Ex-servicemen certificate, as the case may be, issued by
the Competent Authority.
7.5 Candidates betonging to EWS / OBC (Non-Creamy Layer) category should upload vatid EWS /
OBC (Non-Creamy Layer) certificate in the prescribed format (applicabte for purpose of
reservation in appointment to posts under Government of lndia, oblained on or atter 01.04.2021
from Competent Authority.
7.6 Relaxations witt be extended in case of vacancies reserved for SC / Sf / OBC (Non-Creamy
Layer) candidates.
1.7 Category (EWS/SC/ST/0BC(NCL)/ PwBD /Ex-servicemen) once tilled in lhe ontine apptication
form cannot be changed and no benefit ol other category witt be admissibte later on.
7.S PwBD candidates are attowed to apply as General Candidates subject to the posts having been
identifi€d suitable tor such disabilities. The Department of Empowerment of Persons with
Disabitities, Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment have identified the jobs/posts
suitable to be hetd by persons with benchmark disabilities and the physical requirement for
alt such jobs/posts are notified vide Notification No. 38-16 / 2020 -DD-lll, dated OLlOl/2OZl.The

8.0 UEI}IOD OF SELEGIION:


8.1 Final Selection witl be based on Written Test only for 100 marks.
8.2 The Ouestion Paper witl consist of two parts; Part-l with 30 questions of oeneral Aptitude
comprising of quantitative aptitude, General English, Reasoning and General Awareness (ln
the level of lOti Standard) and Part-ll with ?0 Ouestions on Prolessional Knowledqe (in the
respective Discipline), totalty 100 obiective type questions with mullipte choice answers
(Diptoma levet).
8.3 Ouestion Paper for Written Test wil[ have objective type questions carrying equal mark each,
with no negative marks for wrong answer.
8.4 Duration of Written Test witt be 120 minutes.
8.5 The queslion paper will be in English language 0nly.
8.6 The minimum qualifying marks is 50% for UR / E\ /S and 40% for OBC (NCL)/ SC/ST candidales
in Written Test, against the reserved vacancies.
8.1 The final selection of candidates witt be in lhe order of merit based on the total marks scored
by the candidates in the Writlen Test, subject to scoring minimum quatifying marks in Written
Test, atter ensuring due reservation for SC / ST / OBC(NCL) / EWS.
8.8 The exact date & Venue of lhe selection wilt be hosted in NLCIL website apart trom sending
SMS to shortlisted candidates to their registered mobile number to download the Catt Letter
in the NLCIL website using their registered e-mail id and password.
,.0 GENERAL CONDMONS:
9.1 only lndian Nationals are etigible to appty.
9.2 All qualifications shoutd have been acquired from lndian Universities / lnstitutes, recognized
by appticabte and appropriale statutory aUthority in lndia.

9.3 Depending upon the response and requirement, NLCIL reserves lhe right to raise / relax the
eligibitity condltions.
9.4 NLCIL reserves the right not to fitl up any or att the posts notified at its discretion and
vacancies may also be increased / decreased depending upon organizationaI requirements.
9.5 Candidates are informed that mere submission of applications shalt not give them any right to
be ca[]ed for Selection.

9.6 Candidates will be called for written Tesl based on Setf certified information atong wilh copies
of testimonials uptoaded by them. They should produce the original documents, in support of
their meeting eligibility conditions, when calted for.
