With this letter, the management of IPS/ MIJS is pleased to inform you that schools will open in full capacity from the 14th of February 2022. This is to say that rotational attendance of school will come to an end and all learners will come to school every day. We would like to thank you for your support and understanding during the difficult time of rotational class attendance due to COVID-19. As an institution, we will continue to enhance safety precautions in place such as hand sanitizing, and regularly cleaning high touch areas as measures to combat the spread of the pandemic. We will also continue to keep the learners’ snack and lunch time different for the different classes so as to curb overcrowding. Please ensure that your child(ren) always wear a mask. Kindly pack an extra mask at all times in their bags in case anything happens to the one they have on. Also, please keep children who have flu like symptoms at home. Symptoms include: fever, a cough, a runny nose or sore throat. Don’t send sick children to school – they will be excluded from class and sent home. Although school resumes normally, we will still use our online platform Sparklesmart for homework, notes, videos and as a learning tool in general. This will help save time and allow you, the parent to be actively involved in the education of your child. Thank you for your continued support and positivity as we strive to do what is best for all of our students and employees during these challenging times.
