Dear Peter,
I haven’t heard from you since I last saw you in Sydney three
weeks ago. Now, I’m writing to tell you about my good news.
The university has just informed me that I’ve passed my
entrance examination. I’ll become a student at the English
Department next month.
You can’t imagine how happy I was when I received this good
news. I’ve had a dream of becoming a teacher of English since I
started to become a student at high school. Now everything
seems to be very nice to me because my dream has come true.
How about your family? Has your father got retired or does he
still work for the factory in Melbourne? Janet is very happy
with her husband after their honeymoon, isn’t she? I’ve also
known that your mother had an operation two days ago. How is
she feeling now?
Best wishes,

I’m very happy to know that you’re going visit me next
