J: Hi Brandon, how are you?

B: hello Jose very good and you?

J: I'm so tired because last week I have the final exam

B: oh, I also have final exams, and how is your family?

J: Oh great, they are fine and yours? Tell me what kind of family do you have and what other
kind of family do you know?

B: They are doing very well. I have a traditional family, which is made up of parents and
children, all living in the same house. But I also know that there are currently different types of
families (single parent, homo parent, traditional, reconstructed, etc.)

J: Great, my family is single parent because I only live with my mother and my two brothers.
But in my case he is single parent for work reasons, my father has been working in Lima since
2010 and he is no longer with us every day, but he comes every weekend,

J: Another type of family that I know are the adoptive families, it is the one that adopts the
children and raises them as if they were their children and also the Intensive family, which is
where all the members live, from the grandparents to the grandchildren.

B: yes, you are right. In some families, the grandparents take care of the grandchildren. This is
the stage in which affection is valued and common duties and interests are shared. At this age,
social contact is more focused on the home environment. Now the protective people become
the protected ones.

J: See you brother!!

B: see you later brother!
