Dear Students,

 
We would like to share some important information to the students who have registered
in GenC category.
 
We request you to forward this mail to your students who have registered for the
GenC category ONLY, so that they are informed and prepared with the system setup
before the assessment.
 
The GenC assessment is planned on the 4th of Sep 2021 and the duration is 100 min.
Students will be given a timeslot of three hours and they can start anytime within the
timeslot to commence the assessment.
 
The candidates will also receive an email from Superset
(notifications@email.joinsuperset.com) with the schedule, assessment link and
instructions, once it is scheduled on the platform.
 
The assessment can be taken ONLY through a Safe Exam Browser (SEB) and we
strongly recommend all candidates to complete the system check, SEB
installation and any related configuration (if required, based on the candidate’s
system) well in advance before the assessment.
 
IMPORTANT POINTS (For the candidates):
 Only one attempt is available – Take the assessment on a
desktop/laptop equipped with a working webcam and ensure that your
laptop battery is fully charged/ desktop is powered throughout the assessment
duration. You should have uninterrupted internet connection. Please install
SEB and perform all system checks in advance.
 While taking up the online test, you are advised not to move out of the test
screen, e.g., Do not open another tab or application like Notepad, Excel or web
browsers like Google, etc. The Test will be locked permanently if you are
found switching through windows while taking the Test.
 
Do’s:
 
 The camera should be positioned to cover your face and upper body during the
assessment.
 Ensure you take up the assessment from a quiet place. Adjust your indoor
lighting and camera angle to make your face clearly visible at ALL TIMES.
Please avoid photos, pictures, decorations, curtains or other objects in the
background.
 In case the test stops/halts due to an Internet or electricity failure, you will be able
to resume your assessment from the same point in the test where it was
halted, without losing any time. Wait for 5 minutes, login again using the same
credentials, and click on ‘Resume Incomplete Test’. You will have to select
your name and continue attempting the test.
 After you login into the test, you must finish the test within 100 minutes.
 
Don’ts:
 
 Do not try to click ‘Print Screen’ or try to copy the content while the assessment
is in progress.
 Do not cover the webcam at any point during the assessment and do not move
away from computer/laptop webcam range.
 Do not have anyone else present in the room apart from yourself while taking the
assessment. If any other person is detected during the assessment process,
you will face disqualification.
 Do not use any other electronic device like mobile phones, headsets/earphones,
ear pods, calculators or recording devices during the entire duration of the
assessment.
Zero Tolerance for Malpractice:
 
 The assessment platform is configured with robust artificial intelligence
mechanisms to track malpractice. Any candidate found to be using unfair
means will be disqualified from the recruitment process, without notice.
 Cognizant has a zero-tolerance policy for malpractice. A disqualification
may be issued at any stage of the process, as and when malpractice is
detected and is solely at the discretion of the Cognizant team.

•     At several instances during the test, you will be prompted to allow access to your
webcam.
       Please grant the test software access to your webcam.
•     In case you are taking the test on Windows 8, make sure you disable all the
popups/ notifications.
•     Ensure you are in a quiet area with good lighting.
•     An internet connection with at least 2mbps speed is recommended to ensure
seamless connectivity to the assessment

•     Ensure you have a Webcam connected to your System and it is operational

o   Windows: 10, 8, 7. Windows 10S is not a compatible operating system. 
Includes x86 32 and 64bit processors and ARM 64bit processors using
x86 emulation
o   Mac: macOS 10.12 to 10.15
o   Linux: Not supported
•     Candidate device Memory specs:

•     Browser Requirements: This Assessment is supported by the below listed

•    Minimum Internet speed requirement: 2mbps.
