The collaboration with Charlotte Perriand and his cousin, Pierre Jeanneret resulted in the expansion of the Le Corbusier furniture line in the1929 Salon d'Automne installation, ‘Equipment for the Home’. & DESIGNER BIO \ So Ludwig Mies van der Rohe | was a German-American re architect whose furniture x | designs pioneered new SS industrial technologies still in Use today. In 1923 he opened his own workshop where he collarborated with other famous designers such as Le Corbusier and Charlotte Perriand. He would later go on to design his most famous furniture pieces, the Standard Ch in 1934 ond the Antony chair pictured on the left in 1954, DESIGNER BIO Eero Sarinen was a Finnish ‘American architect and industrial designer whose work not only includes the = wide ranging “Tulip” and “Pedestal” group of furniture, but also includes the largest monument in the western hemisphere, the famous Goteway Arch in St.Louis. 7 DESIGNER BIO Ame Jacobsen is remembered primarily for his - furniture designs However, se he believed he was first and - ~ foremost an architect.
