If I were to meet Dr. Jose P. Rizal, I would ask him if he thought of changing things he had done.
That could probably change events on his life and the life of the Filipinos. I would also thank him
personally for the liberty that we have now. I will also tell him how the Filipinos are grateful on his
contribution for the country. And also tell him what his works become today and how people give
importance to those works and also to him as a hero.

2. Why do we need to study the life, works, and writings of Rizal.

As Filipinos, we need to study the life, works, and writings of Rizal to enlighten us on who he was and
how he became our national hero. Learning things about our national hero will not just make us know
information about him, but will also inspire us to do great things in the future. Studying this course will
make us realize the importance of freedom and how hard Rizal and his allies fought for it. It will also
teach us that we can fight by using intellect instead of force.
