Waste management and disposal is very essential in today's generation.

With the
population getting larger and larger everyday, the waste and gabages was also
doubled. Moreover, this increase of garbages and improper waste disposal affect the
lives of many people.

For instance, people living near the landfills and those who are very close to the waste
disposal area are prone to various diseases, putting their lives in danger. In order to
maintain a healthy lifestyle, proper hygiene and sanitation are necessary. Consequently,
it is only possible with proper waste disposal and incorporating the value of love for
environment.

Waste management and disposal means the proper processing and management of
different types of wastes and garbage’s, from the time it is disposed of. This practice is
very important as we focus on saving the Earth for the long run. Waste management
practices will help us to avoid various diseases. It will also create a positive effect in our
environment because if we segregate our wastes, it will no longer reach and pollute the
bodies of water, land and air. Chemicals and other hazardous waste may cause danger
in our lives but if we segregate them properly,

it will not cause danger in our health. Applying the 3Rs (Reduce Reuse and Recycle)
will also help us strengthen our campaigns to go green. We can lessen the use of
plastics and other disposables and recycle them instead.
in addition, recycling food waste helps reduce methane emissions from landfills and
lowers one's carbon footprint. An end to hauling the food waste and then landfilling it will
conserve energy and resources. And most importantly, animals who died because
of ,the garbages we throw in the bodies of water. will no longer be a problem.

If this actions will be done by everyone, then our mother Earth will be save. Our own
little and actions will be a bigger one if we will all take part in this campaign. We
shouldn’t neglect the importance of waste disposal because it will affect not just the
environment but also ourselves.

Explanation:
There are many things people do not realize about their contribution to landfills. For
example, the recycling of food waste, which makes it possible to redeposit nutrients back
into the earth. In addition, recycling food waste helps reduce methane emissions from
landfills and lowers one's carbon footprint. An end to hauling the food waste and then
landfilling it will conserve energy and resources.

Instead of throwing your food waste away, one can dump the food waste into a tight
container and depositing it into the ground, then filling the hole back in by covering the food
waste with the dirt. Worms will find the food waste, eat it, and then the worm's waste will
turn into compost. Worm composting is the best thing for the soil as it replenishes much
required nutrients into the soil and it is a lot safer than chemical fertilizers. Even though
chemical fertilizers increase crop production, when used without precise measurement can
result to hardened soil, decreased fertility, strengthened pesticides, polluted air and water,
and released greenhouse gases, thereby bringing hazards to human health and
environment as well; this, is not a direction to take in trying to save earth.

Another great way to dispose of food waste and avoid landfills is to begin composting,
which is the microbial decomposition of organic and dead materials into compost.
Composting permits organic matter such as vegetable food waste and paper products to
decompose and turn into nutrient-rich soil. This soil is impeccable for growing plants in any
environment and promoting soil amendment. In addition, a clean environment is achieved in
the process, a perfectly green world becomes and the earth is saved, slowly but surely.
