Vehicle Fleet Policies

Some UHS teammates drive UHS owned vehicles. Several key policies govern the expectations and procedures relating
to the use of company vehicles. Adhering to these requirements ensures employee safety, compliance with DOT and IRS
regulations, and managing vehicle costs for the District. Vehicle Fleet Policies can be found in the Policy Corner in UHS’
inForm Learning Management System.

Putting Policy into Practice

“Compliance with UHS policies reduces the cost of operating vehicles for our district offices by each driver
taking responsibility for the operation and maintenance of the vehicle they drive, and helps keep UHS
employees safe by knowing what is expected of them.”
