Apply Tooling (C) onto surface (X) and surface (¥). ‘nsall thrust weer (16). 6, Install lp 7. Tum over housing (26). Install near sleeves (27). The diagonal cuts that are in wear sleeves (27) are separated by 90°. Apply Tooling (C) onto thrust washer (34). Install chrust washer (24), ‘erates 7 a 8. Use Tooling (A) and a suitable lifting device to install housing (26). The weight of housing (26) is approximately 54 kg (120 Ib). Invull shims (23.4). Check for full seating of the cone with a Fesler Gauge. With the drive shaft m 2 vertical position, set the housing on besrine cone (21). Start bearing cous (33) (uot shown) on the top of drive shafi (20). De not preheat this bearing cone. ‘The bearing cone can be seated in position by using the sprocket during Step 17. Make sure that he bearing cone is seated inthe cup. 16, Install drive shatt (20) im housing assembly Masraisn 15 sunbecees Mawration 1¢ neces, 17, Place the first sprocket (16) om drive shaft (20). The large diameter must face downward. 18, Place the second sprocket (19) on deve ahaft (20). The hub must face downward and tha large diameter must face upward. Ensure thatthe lubrication hole: (1) forthe spline are aligned. 10, Install nut (17) to the drive shaft (20). Rotate drive shaft (20) and hit the hu of sprockets (18) while nut (17) i being tightened to a torque of 11 = 1 N-an (100 = 10 Ib in) above seal draz. 20. Loosem mut (17) by one locking position. Install retainers (6), the washers, and locking bolts (5) to planetary carrier (3) to hold planetary shafts (#) and gear assemblies (7) in planetary carrier (3).
