1. Name one source of information that you feel is the most effective tool for measuring
performance! Explain!

2. Explain the three types of control and give example for every type!

ANSWER
1. The Balanced Scorecard or abbreviated as BSC is a measurement tool for future
management performance. An organization needs a tool to measure performance in
order to see how far the strategies and targets that have been determined can be
achieved, because by doing a performance assessment it can be seen the effectiveness
of the determination of a strategy and its implementation. Performance is assessed so
that management can make improvements in the future.
2. Three types of control :
 Preventive Social Control
This type of social control is carried out with the aim of preventing the
occurrence of social deviations in the community. This social control is carried
out before deviations occur in the community. This preventive control is
usually carried out through education within the family, school or community.

 Repressive Social Control


Repressive control is a social control carried out by the community which is
carried out after a deviation occurs. The way that can be done is to take action
and punish the people who make these mistakes. This is so that a person can
realize all the mistakes he has made and return to the real path.

 Curative Social Control


Curative social control is social control which is carried out when the social
deviation occurs. For example, a teacher can advise and even reprimand
students who cheat during a test. This aims to provide awareness of the
behavior carried out and provide a deterrent effect to these students.
